Holy Cross Hospital, a community hospital based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, has one of South Florida’s largest concentrations of medical talent. Beginning with a 100-bed capacity, Holy Cross is now licensed to serve 557 inpatients and its medical staff includes over 600 physicians.

Case Assignments: Orthopedic, general, urologic, and spine. There are no pediatric, trauma, OB or transplant cases.
Shifts: Flexible shift options including (10) - 14 hour shifts per month

Responsibilities
-Pre-anesthesia assessment
-Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
-Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
-Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
-Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
-Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
-Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
-Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
