Great location; wonderful team! Hospital located within walking distance of subways & LIRR.
Cases include OB, ortho, gyn, vascular, bari, general.
CRNAs do their own regionals.
Providing inpatient medical and surgical care,
intensive care, and obstetrics and gynecology
services, Long Island Jewish Forest Hills is
designated as a Level II Perinatal Center. The
Emergency Department is a 911 receiving site,
a certified heart station, and a New York State
designated Stroke Center. The hospital offers
a well-regarded medical residency education
program and a podiatry residency education
program. In 2014, there were approximately
18,000 inpatient discharges, including 2,000
women who delivered at the Hospital.
Position Requirements
Holds a current license as a registered professional nurse and complies with any applicable state statutory or requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing
Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor
Complies with one of the following requirements regarding certification; or initial certification or recertification:
Meets requirements above and is awaiting on initial certification; or
Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or it predecessor; or
Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
